- 글쓰기 반은 한국어 고급반 과정을 수료한 학생들로 구성이 되어 있으며 단어와 문장 단위에서 벗어나 장·단문을 접하며 시, 소설, 설명문, 논설문, 독후감 등 다양한 글을 경험하고 학습합니다.
- 문단을 읽고 글의 중심 생각을 파악하고 원인과 결과, 사실과 의견을 구별 할 수 있도록 연습하며 시간의 흐름에 따라 사건이나 행동이 들어나게 글을 쓸 수 있도록 지도합니다.
- 쓰기에 자신감을 갖고 자신의 생각을 적극적으로 표현 할 수 있도록 하며 기본적인 문장의 짜임을 이해하고 사용하며 높임법을 예절에 맞게 사용하고, 맞춤법과 띄어쓰기를 정확히 사용 할 수 있도록 지도합니다.
- 또한 한국 문화와 역사, 한국 사회에 대한 다양한 지식을 배우고, 미국과 한국을 연결하여 두 사회를 비교하여 이해하며, 이에 대한 자기 생각을 어법에 맞게 말로 발표하거나 글로 쓰고 실제 생활에 적용할 수 있게 합니다.
- 그리고 한국어 능력시험 (TOPIK 1.2) 을 준비하고 응시 할 수 있는 실력을 키워나갑니다.
- The writing class is composed of students who have completed an advanced level of Korean language courses. In this class, students will move beyond individual words and sentences and encounter various types of complex writing such as poems, novels, descriptive texts, essays, and book reviews.
- Students will practice reading paragraphs to pinpoint the main ideas of a text, distinguish between cause and effect, fact and opinion, and learn to write narratives that involve events or actions that have unfolded over time. The ultimate goals are to instill confidence in writing and encourage students to actively express their thoughts, understand and use various sentence structures, apply correct grammar and spacing, and the appropriate honorifics.
- Additionally, students will learn various aspects of Korean culture, history, and society, compare and bridge Korean and American society, and have guidance on expressing their thoughts regarding these topics verbally or in writing, with the correct wording and grammar.
- Students will also be preparing to take the Korean language proficiency test (TOPIK 1.2) and will have guidance to improve their skills accordingly.
